You vs what you do?

Are you and the things you do are two different things?

Can your productions and your creations be detached from yourself once they are completed?

If that is the truth, what is your identity?

Or is there not a concept of an identity in the long run?

When I think about the famous thought presented in the Bible, nothing is original under the sun, I wonder, is there a point to be too possessive about what you do and what you do not do?

Should there be a feeling of possession towards your so called creations and boundaries you have raised around that. Not just you, the whole humanity in a way.

How can a famous singer be a nuclear scientist or a car mechanic?

How can a patented art can be copied?

How can a normal moddle class person own a really luxurious car?

And so on. I know, I am dragging this a bit now but is identity that much important or should a human have complete freedom in a moment where he lives.

Because believe me, wishes change all the time. Everyone wants to do something else, something completely unexpected of them from their reality, society, friends or family. But, they do not do any such things. Because, they have an image to maintain, which will give them some imaginary respect in the eyes of some people, who really do not have time to think about your existence.

Or they have a legacy to create, but believe me, once you die, you cease to exist. Any so called stupid legacy yoh leave behind is worth not much to the people who are still living in the world. If you are a really successful person who might have also helped a few people along the way, and most importantly, created enough noise and awareness about it. A few people might give you a small tribute, giving a few seconds, maybe 1-2 times a year for a few years and then everyone will forget you.

The thing for which you have wasted your life and did so many things you did not want to would not even give you a few hours worth of actual legacy in the world after you. You could have just lived your life. Tried to do what you wanted to and loved to do. And, if in the course of that, a legacy is built, then let it be built. Just do not care or worry about that.

All the people in the world with any real legacy did not really tried to build that legacy. They just focused on their work and their dreams and their life.

The legacy followed them, they did not follow legacy.

But yet, a person who is known for something and has a certain identity in society would not dare to do something really unthinkable or out of the box, however legal and harmless that can be. Because, a normal human is too scared and too conditioned in his social and spiritual environment. His dreams and a process to achieve them come from this inauthentic eco-system which is built to control all its members in a certain boundary.

That is why all our dreams and wishes are so generic and boring. Many people feel that but do not care or dare to do anything to change anything.

Most people do not even realite that they are living a life of a video game character where all their progress path is already designed by the society and the groups who control this society.

The original question was, are you and the things you do are separate, or are they part of the same identity?

For me, the answer would be, the closer your real self is to your authentic self, somewhere where you are not playing a role alloted by a society, the closer your acts get to you. Then, the difference between you and what you would be non-existent.

Because, you are doing what your true self is directing you towards.

But, if you feel too far from the things you are doing or producing, then probably you are just another filler character in a game of society.

Your reality and legacy will be similar to billions of humans, who came before you, played similar roles dictated by the society and itsimaginary value system, and then died and got forgotten very soon. The life of this kind is considerably simpler and easier for you, and if you are content with it, nothing bad about it. But, if you want to search for true meaning of yourself and your life, then this life and the eco-system supporting it will be a huge obstacle or deterrant for you.

I stop this here but we will continue this discussion sometimes again.
