Wisdom is a forever currency

In the Information Age which is slowly becoming AI age, knowledge can or can not pay, as much of the knowledge is freely and abundantly available digitally. Once you have a mobile device with Internet connection, almost all information and data of the world is available at your fingertips. Therefore we need to think beyond the concept of knowledge and focus on the concept of wisdom.   In any time or age, wisdom has always proved its worth. In the beginning of humanity, knowledge was not that easily available. But our forefathers survived mostly on wisdom. And the record of such wise behaviours became what is today known as knowledge. Knowledge can help us to a great extent, but it’s not a solve all phenomenon.  We are realising that really fast nowadays due to the advent of Artificial Intelligence. Many knowledge based skills are getting redundant day by day. AI engines are becoming really efficient at handing monotonous tasks. Many jobs which are common today, won’t be there ...

Are we obstacle to our organicness?

In the last few decades, the business of teaching motivation & time management to young people have increased by leaps and bounds. People are taught in such a courses; how to get motivated? How to stay motivated? How to think? How to create? How to flow? How to get your life from point A to point B?  But can it work? Isn‘t all this exactly the opposite of how creativity and organic energy and eventual joy and peace should be achieved?  You can not start doing something with a clear map in your mind unless you are doing very generic and mundane yet important task, like handling a cash-counter. In all other things of life, starting with a free mind will always be more fruitful or at least joyful. By having so many rules and regulations, so many goals abd targets, so many imaginary future life maps, we are only making our own lives misearable.  What do you think about this?  You can share your thoughts in comments.

Question of choice

Many of us are confused with the question of choice. Every moment, we have so many options before us and we need to make decisions. Decisions which will define our lives forward.  You can choose to work hard right now and try to make more money and create more resources for you and your loved ones. But will you lose your dreams and your freedom while doing this. You can choose freedom and do the things which you want to do. But is that good enough for your life, now and in future.  By default, human mind wants to rest and be entertained. Won’t you be stuck in a low quality life if you always give into your free will. And is there even a free will?  Mostly we want to do things which are comfortable and familiar to us. But don’t you think, those uncomfortable things can take our life into unknown directions which can actually be really exciting once we overcome those initial psychological barriers.  I have no answers. If you have any ideas regarding this, please share....

Overtaking demotivated state

Sometimes it becomes difficult to move forward in the endeavours we have undertaken in our life. It feels like you are completely stuck somewhere psychologically. When everything else is in order and you can just keep going but still you can’t. It’s this stage when creating something organic really helps. The process is simple and you don’t need to plan it too much. When you are really down on mental juice, you just need to stop completely. Don’t get diverted, just stop. Stop and think. Think about anything you like. Don’t care about liking anything, just think. Let your true self flow. There’s a good chance that you might generate some energy to get into meditation. If you get that, try and meditate.  While meditating, you will surely get some ideas or some inspiration to work on something. Just act on those thoughts for some time. They may or may not be related to your goals or your work but it’s not about that. It’s about getting your juices flowing.  Once you have that, yo...

What is a meditation?

Several religions and spiritual practices of the world use meditation in one form or another to make humans calmer more aware. My experience has also always been great with meditation. It creates a certain serenity in one’s mind and also enables looking at the world more objectively so I have understood a few things about meditation which I will share here. First thing meditation does is to create deep connection between our heart and mind. It helps us regulate our emotions because we can observe them more transparently. It also makes our breathing more harmonious as we are calmer and more consistent. If you add breathing exercises with your meditation, I believe it will surely change the way you live. Meditation also helps us bringing our conscious self and impulsive self closure. I will continue updating this thought but I’m publishing it as first thoughts so that we can start a discussion.  What do you think about meditation?
